In this AHC Aqualuronic Serum review, you will learn a little bit more about this hydrating K-beauty skincare product. I will be sharing my own detailed experience, the key skin benefits, ingredients, and how well it performs.

This time I wanted to try out something from the Korean skincare brand AHC. Their most popular serum seems to be perfect for the Wintertime and that piqued my interest immediately! It’s getting cold and my skin definitely needs a little something extra.

Translucent Gel Serum

The AHC Aqualuronic Serum comes in a baby blue bottle with a comfortable pump applicator. This serum is translucent in color and has a lightweight gel consistency. Something I want to mention immediately is that it smells strongly artificial but clean.

This serum’s scent reminds me of Perfume and that can be overwhelming for some. I think it’s not suitable for those who are usually sensitive to Fragrance so keep that in mind.

Nourishing and Non-Oily

You can store this serum in your refrigerator for a soothing and cooling effect. Since it has such a strong scent, it’s important to be careful and not apply it close to the eye area. I love applying this serum to my skin since it instantly hydrates my skin.

The AHC Aqualuronic Serum feels really nourishing and absorbs fast into my skin thanks to its lightweight consistency. I love that it leaves my face feeling greasy or sticky since I heavily dislike any kind of tackiness. My skin feels great after I’m done applying it.

I can say that this serum leaves a very light moisturized finish and makes me glow from the inside out. It doesn’t cause any breakouts for me personally and my skin is pretty prone to acne.

Great for Winter

I love using the AHC Aqualuronic Serum every day, even in the morning since it doesn’t feel heavy like most hydrating skincare products. My skin feels a lot smoother and calmer in just a few days, which is amazing! My rough textured skin is softer than ever.

This serum makes a huge difference in how moisturized my skin feels. It has reduced my flakiness during colder weather. This is why it’s perfect for Winter and I highly recommend it to people who live in a colder climate. It keeps my skin protected from the cold.

My skin stays deeply hydrated all day/night long and my dullness is long gone. I no longer experience dry patches and my skin seems healthier than usual. The redness that usually occurs when the air is dry and cold is nowhere to be seen as well.

Great Hydrating Serum

This serum is the definition of deep hydration! I think it would be perfect for those who are looking for a hydrating serum that doesn’t feel tacky. If you don’t mind a strong Fragrance in skincare products, then definitely try this out.

The AHC Aqualuronic Serum worked great for my combination skin. I saw a noticeable improvement in dullness and dehydration. My skin looks lively and plump with moisture when I use this serum.

Looking for a deeply hydrating serum that is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and multiple anti-aging ingredients? Well, this serum is the cure for dehydrated skin and will certainly plump up your skin with deep moisture!

Skin Benefits

Recommended Skin Types

The AHC Aqualuronic Serum is recommended for dry, dull, and dehydrated skin. This serum is great to use on skin that is showing the first signs of aging and a loss of firmness. It hydrates the skin and leaves your face looking plump and youthful.

If you are someone who dislikes an oily or sticky after-feel then this serum is made for you! It keeps the skin moisturized without ever being tacky. This is why it is also suitable for oily skin types but I really don’t recommend it for sensitive ones.

How to Use

The AHC Aqualuronic Serum can be used daily, both in the morning and evening. Make sure your skin has been cleansed and toned beforehand.

  1. Apply 5 drops of the serum to the palm of your hand
  2. Gently apply the serum to your face and neck
  3. For deeply dehydrated areas: apply 1-2 drops more
  4. Pat your skin until the serum has been absorbed
