When you open the jar it has a sherbet, slushie-like textured balm inside. The balm is a light pink shade and looks beautiful. It has a slight scent, which I find very nice. It turns into an oily consistency once you rub it into the skin which is very satisfying, in my opinion.
You don’t have to apply a lot of the Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original when cleansing your face. A little bit goes a long way in this case. It melts into the skin very nicely and is absolutely gentle. I can go over my eyes with the balm since it doesn’t have any irritating ingredients.

The Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original removes makeup so effortlessly, even waterproof mascara. Mascara is usually super hard to remove and I always have issues with it. This cleanser really makes it look so easy and melts it off instantly.
I am shocked, this is the best makeup remover I have tried. Usually, cleansers don’t remove my makeup that well, I have to try multiple times. And even then, I have pieces of makeup still stuck to my face. This one melts off the foundation, lips, and eye makeup.

After I rinse off the Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original, my skin feels super soft. There’s no oily residue and it never dries or irritates my skin. This balm washes off super easily and removes all the dirt and oils from your face, leaving it squeaky clean.
My face doesn’t feel tight like it does with most cleansing products. I actually think this balm moisturized my face, which is a new experience for me. One awesome thing I noticed is that you can also use this cleansing balm to wash your makeup brushes.
After I’m done with the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original, I always use the Banila Co Dear Hydration Toner. The toner immediately nourishes my skin with moisture and prevents dehydration, prepping my skin for the next skincare steps.
