Seaweed Green Jar
The Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment comes in a seaweed green glass cream jar. Inside the jar, there’s an olive-beige-toned cream. I like the design and how it differs from most products, the green makes it seem very natural and down to earth.
This cream doesn’t have much of a scent or at least I didn’t notice one.
Moisturizing With A Light Cast
The texture of the cream is quite thick and it feels quite moisturizing. The Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment gives a lighter coverage. It provides a little bit of a white cast but it’s not as bad as some other CC creams or products.
When you try blending in the product, it turns into a natural beige tone and mixes with your skin pretty well. It is a little bit harder to blend in than most products so you definitely need to prep with a moisturizer beforehand.
Covers Redness Effectively
The most important thing to judge is how it covers redness and discoloration. I can say with my whole heart that the Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment covers all kinds of redness and evens the skin tone. I find that it really balances my face in a very nice way.
My skin looks very healthy and beautiful when I apply this treatment. It is meant to treat redness while covering it up so it’s multifunctional and I think that’s awesome. I really needed a product that covers redness but also soothes those red areas to make an actual difference.
The Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment covers the redness on my nose, cheeks, and other areas. I also feel like it’s super soothing and feels nice on the skin. Also important to note that I can see my skin get visibly better and healthier every time I use this.
No Makeup Look
The Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment gives you a no-makeup makeup look that looks very natural. It’s perfect for summer in my opinion since it’s more of a tinted tone-correcting sunscreen so you have to keep that in mind.
This cream is not a replacement for foundation or concealer and the coverage you get is pretty lightweight. While it covers redness and tone-corrects, it doesn’t cover blemishes or freckles. That’s just something to consider if you have acne-prone skin.
If you like a more natural makeup look or don’t need as much coverage, then this treatment will suffice nicely. I do add some concealer on top of this sometimes because I like more coverage.
Not Meant for Dry Skin
The Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment sometimes latches on to my dry patches when my skin is more on the dry side. I think that’s normal, considering most tinted makeup products can highlight flakiness even more. But it sat pretty nicely on all the other areas that weren’t as dry.
I’m not going to include this as a minus since I know I have this problem with most products and I already expected this to cause some issues. I think this product would work nicely on combination or normal, more hydrated skin.
Color-Correcting Tinted Sunscreen
I think the Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment is great for people who are not looking for strong coverage and want to color-correct some red areas. It doesn’t cover other things like pimples, and blemishes but does what it says it would.
This treatment blends nicely into the skin if you have normal, combination skin. It’s also great for sensitive skin and is gentle.
