There is actually a large amount of gel in this big jar. I personally like to apply the Water Sleeping Mask in the evening, before heading to bed, and use it 2-3 times a week. It’s also good to add some moisturizer before doing the mask.
Cooling and Soothing
A tiny amount of gel is enough to cover my entire face when it comes to the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. I take out a little bit of the gel and apply it to my face with the small spatula. Since this mask is more like a gel, it spreads very easily and is easy to apply.
The Water Sleeping Mask has a very smooth watery consistency, which makes it feel super cooling on my skin. Sometimes I keep the mask in my refrigerator so it feels even more cooling and soothing. It feels like a cold gel when applied and never leaves my skin greasy or wet.
This mask absorbs beautifully into my skin and my face drinks it like water. It gives my skin an instant water boost while somehow remaining lightweight and comfortable.
Locks in Moisture
The Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is super nourishing and refreshing. This mask locks in all the moisture my skin needs and doesn’t leave any uncomfortable residue behind. My skin never feels sticky after and it’s usually very gentle on my easily-irritated skin.
I can tell that this mask actually repairs and maintains my skin’s moisture barrier. My skin is hydrated but never greasy and it makes my skin appear softer. This mask actually dries up so it’s comfortable to sleep in. Whenever I lay my face on my pillow, the mask doesn’t transfer so I don’t ruin my pillows!
This mask has solved my dry patch problem, especially during Winter. I think no other skincare product hydrates my skin this deeply so I completely rely on this mask for hydration.
