This serum is a mixture between a gel and a lotion and has a nice warm-toned beige shade. The scent used in this serum is a very pleasant rich herbal lemon scent. I can confidently say that it’s one of my favorites. I almost want to eat the serum based on its scent alone.

I recently did a review on the Sulwhasoo Ginseng Renewing Serum and it’s one of my favorites. So I am very excited to see how the Revitalizing Serum compares and whether it will become a vital part of my skincare routine.

Fast-Absorbing and Works Under Makeup

The Sulwhasoo Essential Serum spreads very easily on my skin. I noticed that it doesn’t sit on top of the skin like a lot of other products do. It has a fast-absorbing consistency that ultimately soaks into the skin and you can actually feel it melting in.

The serum absorbed so nicely that my skin texture feels already 10 times better. It is never sticky or greasy, which is a huge plus in my eyes. That’s my number one fear when it comes to serums, I can not work with something that is sticky or too oily, I know a lot of you can relate.
