This is my first time trying out the brand Then I Met You, I decided to look into their cleansers and luckily stumbled upon the Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm. The design of this cleansing balm was what drove me to click on the product info and I will gladly tell you all about it. Here is my Then I Met You Cleansing Balm review.

Reminds Me of the Beach

The Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm has one of the best designs I have seen. I usually don’t like colorful skincare products since I am more of a monochrome girl. But somehow I actually love the color of this cleanser! It’s pastel-blue and fades into a mango-yellow shade, which is super cute.

The design truly reminds me of the beach- ocean, and sand mixed together. It comes with a spatula, which makes it easier to apply the balm.

Creamy Balm With a Natural Scent

When you open the Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm, you are instantly met with a delicious mango-yellow balm. The color alone makes me want to eat it. It has a rich and creamy texture, almost like a wax-like consistency. Very smooth and aesthetically pleasing to the sight and touch.

One awesome thing I noticed is that it quite literally melts in your hands, which is very satisfying. Your fingers do a great job at warming up the product, making it easier to massage it onto your skin. And once the water hits, the balm starts foaming up!

The scent feels natural and doesn’t remind me of any Fragrance or chemicals. I quite enjoy the scent this product provides.

Moisturized Smooth Finish

The Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm makes my cleansing process really soothing and removes my makeup perfectly. Washing it off is easy and effortless and my skin feels super soft right after. It’s amazing that this cleanser doesn’t dry out my skin at all, which is unusual!

I love the way my skin feels after using this balm. There is absolutely no irritation or redness on my face. And I usually always get a little red after washing my face, no matter what product I use. I am actually very impressed with this product.

I usually apply the Then I Met You Giving Essence right after the cleansing balm since it calms my skin. These 2 products work amazing together and make a huge difference in my skincare routine.

New Favorite

This is my first time using an oil-based cleanser and I am shocked. I guess the Then I Met You Living Balm is what I should have been using all these years. This is finally a cleanser that doesn’t break me out or dry my skin. It’s easily one of the best makeup removers I have used, and the best cleanser too!

This cleansing balm ticked all the boxes that were needed for me. It works perfectly for my sensitive skin and is gentle enough to not cause any irritation. I love that it melts all the dirt off your face and does that without any effort. Your skin will be healthy and happy after you start using this product.

I think the Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm is absolutely wonderful for double cleansing and is a must-buy for makeup wearers. Also, another amazing gel cleanser that I love is the Then I Met You Soothing Tea Gel. It’s great for acne-prone and oily skin types.
