In this Too Cool For School Artclass By Rodin Shading Contour review on the color Classic 01, you will learn more about this K-beauty contour compact palette. I will be sharing my own opinion, the key ingredients, recommended skin types, and how well it works.

I am interested in trying a Korean contour palette and the Too Cool For School Shading Contour immediately piqued my interest. The design of the palette seems simple and travel-friendly, which is perfect for me. Let’s find out whether I love it!

Comfortable Compact Palette

The Too Cool For School Artclass By Rodin Shading Contour comes in a black-brown compact. For some reason, the appearance of the label reminds me of an old treasure map. When you open the compact you can see 3 different shades of beige-brown colors.

This compact is small enough to fit inside my pockets or a tiny bag, which is awesome. I definitely prefer travel-friendly small powder palettes over the usual bigger ones. This compact comes with a mirror so you can touch up your face wherever.

Perfect-Toned Buildable Contour

The Too Cool For School Shading Contour is easy to apply and it goes on smooth, without feeling overly powdery. The colors show up nicely on my skin and blend in very easily. I never end up looking muddy or like it’s my first time trying out contour.

The 3 colors that come with this palette make the most perfect shade when combined together. I love using all the colors for an overall cheek contour since it just looks so natural. This palette is not too warm or cool-toned, which makes it one of my new favorites.

I would say the Too Cool For School Artclass By Rodin Shading Contour is definitely meant for fair and medium skin tones since it doesn’t come with dark shades. It’s very beginner friendly and easy to manage, even for people who don’t have much experience with contour.

Great for Different Makeup Looks

My favorite part about the Too Cool For School Artclass By Rodin Shading Contour is that the colors don’t make me appear orange or ashy. The contour is buildable so you can choose whether you want a stronger or more subtle natural makeup look.

This palette is suitable for every occasion so I can use it both in the daytime and evening. It doesn’t matter what my mood is for the day, if I want a stronger contour I can just build it up. This contour is not too pigmented so it’s very easy to blend in.

Beginner-Friendly Contour Palette

Overall, the Too Cool For School Shading Contour is perfect for beginners and everyone that is new to contour. It works for all fair and medium skin tones since it doesn’t appear unnatural and compliments your natural skin tone perfectly.

This palette is pretty simple and can be used to achieve different contour looks, depending on the mood. The colors are not overly cool-toned or warm-toned, which is usually the case with other contour palettes. I really recommend it to everyone who needs a buildable contour.
