Cosrx is a very popular skincare brand and is highly respected in the beauty industry. I have been trying out various popular and unique Cosrx products. The popular Korean brand Cosrx has been Amazon’s Best Seller in Facial Cleansing Gels and so much more.

I figured I should do everyone a favor and give my full-on review on the brand and my experience. Let’s get started with my Cosrx review.

Cosrx is a Korean skincare brand that is focused on finding helpful solutions for customers’ personal skin conditions. Their business slogan is ”Expecting Tomorrow”. This means that their purpose is to provide a better tomorrow for their customers with skin-friendly formulas.

Cosrx formulas are made to help treat different skin conditions in a gentle manner with safe ingredients.

Full Fit: for all skin types. All the products contain Propolis Extract.
Pure Fit: for dry, sensitive skin. All the products contain CICA-7 Complex.
Shield Fit: for all skin types, even sensitive and irritated. This line is made up of 2 different sunscreens.
Real Fit: for all skin types. This line is dedicated to 3 different serums.
One Step: for acne-prone, dry and sensitive skin. This line is made up of 3 types of pads. These pads are all used for different concerns.
Hydrium: for dry skin. This line is made to give the skin a boost of moisture. A lot of the products contain Hyaluronic Acid.
Balancium: for irritated, oily, and sensitive skin. This line is made to repair the skin barrier and moisture content. Most of the products contain Ceramide.
AC Collection: for acne-prone, oily and irritated skin. This line is made to take care of pimples and troubled areas.

The Story Behind Cosrx

Cosrx was founded by Jun Sang Hun, who is now the CEO of the company. Jun Sang Hun made sure to collect all customer information to ensure the most effective solutions to various skin concerns.

Jun Sang Hun collected information from the year 2002 up until the year 2013. The Cosrx brand name was made up of the words ”Cosmetics” and ”Rx”.

Cosrx was founded on the 16th of December in 2013 and has since become a well-known, popular Korean skincare brand. Their headquarters reside in the Gyeonggi-do Province, South Korea.

Can Shop By Different Categories

The Cosrx homepage is easy to navigate and this is due to how the skin products are categorized. I always appreciate it when you can find what you need fast and simple. I don’t always have the time to conduct a full-on search by myself.

The first category I noticed immediately was ‘Ingredients’, which means you can shop by key ingredients. This is very important to me since I have some skin concerns that need special ingredients. I appreciate Cosrx for adding this feature to their website.

Another category was ‘Concern’, which means you can find products based on your skin type and concerns. When you are aware of your skin type, you usually want to get a product that is made for your skin so this is great.

Since my skin has issues with dry patches and oiliness, it’s not always the easiest for me to find a fitting product.

With Cosrx, you can also shop by ‘Product Types’, which is the main category used on almost every skincare website. This makes it easier to find cleansers, creams, serums, etc.

Minimalistic Ingredient Base

Cosrx tries to be as minimalistic as possible with its ingredients and products. These minimalistic ingredients ensure a safer formula in itself and ensure that the customers don’t have a negative reaction to the formula.

Cosrx takes a more natural approach when it comes to skincare, which I love. That means the brand focuses on ingredients that are irritant and allergen-free. I think this is so important when it comes to skincare.

A lot of us don’t have the privilege to use all beauty or skincare products since we have certain sensitivities. Cosrx has our back however and makes products that are safe to use for everyone.

Cosrx’s objective in beauty is to make product lines according to customer data, which is something that all brands should focus on. This brand creates the most ideal formulas for their customer’s skin problems and this is all based on customer feedback and data.

Cosrx has always been in touch with the customers and their lifestyles and that is my favorite part about them. It always warms my heart to see a company hearing out different ideas and ways to incorporate everyone’s needs.

I noticed Cosrx takes part in various social media activities such as challenges and viral trends. The brand is very aware of TikTok and other social platforms and you can even notice that on their homepage.

I have learned a lot about skincare by just skimming through these Cosrx articles. In just 5 minutes I have learned why sometimes creams don’t work properly and the mistake that people make with their skin.
