I have never come across a moisturizer that works for my skin during summer. The Innisfree Jelly Cream seems like a very lightweight and soft moisturizer for warmer days. Pleasantly Scented Gel
The Innisfree Dewy Glow Jelly Cream comes in a Coral Pink medium-sized cream jar that has a cute flower doodle on it. I think this design makes the product look extra cute and feminine. This cream has a gel-like consistency and looks translucent, which reminds me of Jelly.
I personally love the texture of this cream since it differs from my usual face creams. It has a very pleasant scent but it’s hard for me to describe what it smells like.
Like a Splash of Water
Since the Innisfree Dewy Glow Jelly Cream feels like a gel when applied, it is also more watery. It has no stickiness and feels quite hydrating like a splash of water to be exact. Because of its water-like feel, I can assume it’s not meant for dry skin.
This cream feels very lightweight and breathable on the skin so it’s comfortable to apply. Only a little bit is needed since it blends into the skin super well and absorbs fast. This cream has a perfect consistency and creates a nice base for my foundation
Fresh Subtle Glow All Day
For me, the Innisfree Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream gives me a nice youthful glow, without the sticky or greasy feeling. My skin stays fresh throughout the day and feels moisturized to a certain extent. It doesn’t provide a strong glow, despite the name.
I would say this gel-like cream gives you a nice lightly moisturized look, with a supple soft texture. I find it to be a great daytime moisturizer but for the nighttime, I need stronger hydration. This is due to me experiencing flakiness and cracked skin.
The Innisfree Jelly Cream works well on my oily areas but for the dry areas, I need to add another moisturizer. This cream can be layered on top of it, so that’s not a problem at all. The oil control helps with my outbreaks as well so fewer pimples.
Great for Summertime
The Innisfree Dewy Glow Jelly Cream is not a winter cream, nor meant for dry and flaky skin. I can see myself using this during the summer when the weather is hot and I’m more likely to sweat or get oily. This cream does help control the oil on my face and keep the oily areas in check.
The best tip I saw online was to keep the Innisfree Jelly Cream in the fridge during hot weather. When you apply it has a stronger soothing/cooling effect. I will definitely try that once the weather turns warmer.
Moisturizer Intended for Non-Dry Skin
I would recommend the Innisfree Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream to acne-prone, oily and normal skin. Since it’s so lightweight and has a non-oily watery formula, it does wonders for the oily areas. For all my fellow dry skin people, this doesn’t hydrate that deeply.
I knew this Jelly Cream was intended as a lightweight moisturizer so I will be using this more during the summer. That’s when I really see myself using this.
