The Nacific Half & Half Clay Mask comes in a black and blue jar. When you open the jar, you can see a small compartment that stores the 2 different spatulas. The first spatula has a boomerang shape, while the second one resembles a spoon.
Since this is a half-and-half mask, the mask is split in the middle. In the first half, you can see the Charcoal Clay and on the other side is the Green Clay. Both clays are used for different benefits, the gray color absorbs sebum, while the green color soothes and nourishes the skin.
This Nacific Half & Half Clay Mask doesn’t have a strong fragrance or smell. The Charcoal Clay smells like nothing, just as you would expect from actual Charcoal. However, the Green Clay does have a very pleasant herbal scent.
Controls Oils and Soothes
The Nacific Half & Half Clay Mask is a little bit hard to spread on my skin since it does have a clay consistency. If you are used to doing clay masks, then you already know the drill. I apply the gray color on my forehead and nose, and the green color on my cheeks and chin.
The Charcoal clay helps control my sebum production without drying out my skin. I think this makes it great for those whose skin is a little bit more on the sensitive side. While it does remove excess oil, it doesn’t give me that dry squeaky feeling afterward.
The Green Clay is very soothing and gives my skin a nice cooling effect that lingers around even after 5 minutes. There are also small exfoliating pieces in this mask so that’s interesting. I usually wait 10-15 minutes before washing both of the masks off with lukewarm water.
